A Bad Start…

With a 3-2 loss to the Sharks, the Islanders are 3-1-0.  Usually, the Islanders start the season great, but getting rid of Okposo, Nielsen, and Martin may have affected us negatively.  Picking up Andrew Ladd was a great move, but he isn’t playing that exceptional.

With Jaroslav Halak letting up continuous late goals, it may be time for a goalie change.  In my opinion, Jaroslav Halak is a great goalie and did amazing in the World Cup, but the defense NEEDS to improve.  We won against the Ducks in OT, and we were tied with the Sharks 2-2 until a goal in the final minutes by Joe Pavelski gives the Sharks a 3-2 win.

Recently, we released a poll on Twitter (link on top right corner of homepage) about our goalie situation.

Greiss did great in the playoffs, Berube did good too in the regular season, but Halak isn’t performing his usual this season.

What should we do?  Comment below.
