It is very clear that Thomas Greiss has been struggling recently.  He let up 5 goals against Toronto, and hasn’t had a great game all season.  Should the Islanders continue to bench him and play or Halak, or should they look to trade him?

Well, there are two answers to that question.  In the short term; bench him.  Play him here and there until we start to see improvement.  The reasoning behind this is that Thomas Greiss definitely has potential.

The long term answer is to let it all play out (what the Islanders are doing) and see if a trade is necessary.  But, trading Thomas Greiss is not a smart play at all because he comes in big for us when we need him.
